What Matters One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much I had in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like. But the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child.
Computer Buddies, is a program which recruits and pairs technically trained mentors with at-risk children, in an effort to encourage their greater use of computers. The Computer Buddies program is working to place refurbished computers in the homes of families who have at-risk school-age children, for the purpose of further supporting the child’s educational needs. This is a first step in helping these children statewide overcome the digital divide that further impairs the educational success of the children. Plans are to expand the use of refurbished computers in group homes, TASC Centers, and others statewide, for use by school-age children. Thank You, you are visitor number to our site!
